Barbara dipped her feet into the waters of tourism in 1991 when she began working at the Tahoe North Visitors and Convention Bureau. While Tahoe was beautiful and enriching, she longed to be an agent for world travel and to see more of the world herself. Her favorite type of travel is to seek out corners of civilization that are off the beaten track that hold unusual historic or prehistoric value – power spots, as they say.  She is committed to helping others find their own unique travel experience, whether it’s a much needed rest on a white sandy beach or an exciting trek into “darkest Peru”.  Her Motto is “May the source be with you always as you journey through life”.  She lives in Lake of the Pines with her husband Lupe, and they have three grown children.  Her second career is in astrological studies and she enjoys writing poetry and painting.
